Commercial Pilots Licence

For the pilot who intends a career in aviation, who has achieved a Private Pilots Licence, the next step is to complete is a Commercial Pilot Licence. A CPL allows you to be employed to fly for hire or reward. As for PPL the training programme is tailored to suiteach individual student. That means you can learn to fly at your own pace and time frame.

CPL Requirements:

  • A Class 1 medical certificate
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum 200 hours flight training
  • 100 hours Pilot –in –command
  • 30 hours cross country navigation
  • 10 hours night flying
  • 10 hours instrument time

Have examination passes in 6 theory subjects
Air Law, Air Navigation & Flight Planning, Meteorology, Aircraft Technical, Principles of Flight.

Pass a practical navigation flight test with a senior flying instructor.
Pass a practical flight test with an approved flight examiner.
