This is a common method for students who wish to build hours towards an airline job and get paid while they do so. With this rating you can instruct student pilots towards obtaining PPL & CPL.
Minimum requirements:
- CPL – 200 hours total time
- 150 hours pilot in command
- 25 hours advanced dual instruction with a B Cat or A Cat instructor
- 15 hours instrument flying
- 2 hours spin recovery
- Practical flight test
The course also includes 45 hours theory briefings and the candidate also has to complete an instructional techniques course.
