Introductory Flights and Flight Packages

Introductory Flight – $179

The Auckland Aero Club is offering you the opportunity to experience the thrill and excitement of flying an aircraft for the first time.

Imagine, the chance to fly an aircraft, with the assistance of a qualified flight instructor by your side.  It’s all possible with the Auckland Aero Club.  And it only costs $179 in a 2-seater or $209 in a 4-seater.
Before the flight the instructor will teach you the basics of how the aircraft flies, then you will go up for a twenty minute flight where you get to fly the aircraft!

Aerobatic Trial Flight  – $280

Take that extra step and indulge in forty minutes of aerobatics. Fancy doing loops, rolls, stall turns and aileron rolls? Then this is the flight for you.

 Fly your own scenic  – $359

It’s the dream of every wannabe pilot or aviation enthusiast – soaring high in the sky, with help and encouragement from your instructor.

You will be the pilot for your one hour scenic flight over Auckland City, including One Tree Hill, Auckland International Airport, Sky Tower, as well as Waiheke Island, Rangitoto Island.

This is typically done in our 4-seater aircraft. Or in our 2-seater it will cost $250.

How to book the flight:

Contact the Club on (09) 299 8590 and ask to book an Auckland Aero Club Introductory Flight.  We are open for bookings seven days a week, from 8.00am until 5.00pm.

On the day of the booking, call the Club to confirm the weather conditions are suitable for the flight.

What to do after the flight:

You’ve been for the introductory flight and now you’re interested in taking your flying further.  The Club has a number of Starter Packs available.

Getting Airborne

This package is the ideal gift for friends and family. You can also use it as a starter towards your PPL flight training.

  • NZ Flight Training Manual
  • 12 months membership

 

Terms and Conditions – IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

  1. All packs are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE
  2. Packs become void when the term of the membership on the pack expires
  3. Unfortunately packs cannot be re-arranged
  4. Your account must be in credit or be a zero balance to purchase a pack
  5. The first two packages Getting Airborne and Flying Start can only be purchased once as they relate to your first two and first four flying lessons respectively
  6. By purchasing any one of the above packages you agree to the terms and conditions stated above
