Starting life as the original AA-1, which was mainly aimed at private owners, 
the series eventually evolved into the AA-1C which was more suitable for flight training. Offering pin-sharp handling and low operating costs the AA-1C has been a popular aircraft with the Auckland Aero Club for 30 years, and countless private and commercial pilots have gained their licenses in them over the years. We currently have two AA-1Cs online.
