First flown in 1960 as Piper’s answer to the rival Cessna 172,
the PA-28 series of aircraft encompasses many variants, and has been produced in huge numbers. Used throughout the world for both basic flight training and as a pleasant low-cost four seat touring aircraft, the PA-28 (often referred to generically as the “Cherokee”) is an exceptionally stable and comfortable aircraft, making it ideal for cross country or scenic flights with passengers. Our PA-28 is a “Warrior” version meaning it has a 160hp engine in place of the 140hp unit fitted in the earlier PA-28s, offering better cruise and climb performance.
