Club and Buddy Trips

Our club trips page now has a calender detailing all the club and buddy trips for the year. Please contact flightdesk@aac.org.nz if you wish to sign up for one of these trips. Everyone is welcome, including student pilots.

C162 Checklists

Just a reminder that the design of the doors on the Cessna 162 makes it essential to confirm that both the main and secondary door latches are secured before flight and there is no outward movement of the door at either the front or back. The checklists for the aircraft will be updated to emphasise this.

ZK-VCG Now Online!

We are very excited to now be able to offer three Cessna 162s! ZK-VCG is now online with us and available for bookings. The hire rate for VCG will be the same as the other two 162s. In addition to this VCG has the dual screen flight display setup, and our other two 162s are having the second screen installed.
AAC has already been fitted with the second screen and AMN is having it fitted as I write this. Having the second screen allows some of the information from the primary screen to be displayed on the secondary screen which allows for a more user-friendly flight display. This also means all three of our 162s will be essentially identical for ease of training – this will offer us much more flexibility with bookings.
